About us

The jackson hole Robobroncs

The JH RoboBroncs is an organization that helps to encourage and expose students K-12 to STEM and robotics.

Originally founded as a high-school robotics team, the RoboBroncs has since expanded to encompass a wide range of STEM and robotics programs for elementary, middle, and high school students. The RoboBroncs' location in Jackson, Wyoming gives a perfect opportunity for STEM outreach in our area. With the help of the RoboBroncs, western Wyoming, an area that once was isolated from the STEM world, has become more integrated into STEM and robotics.

What we do

While building robots is at the heart of the JH Robobroncs, we have a wide variety of programs focused on building Robotics and STEM awareness and skills in our local community and beyond.

Technical Training Programs

From computer-aided-design to programming, the Robobroncs host training programs all year round.

Between presentations in our local schools and online media, the RoboBroncs creates/hosts a variety of educational programs.

The RoboBroncs mentor many robotics teams in our district, and around the state of Wyoming.

Wind River

Beyond technical outreach, the RoboBroncs provide supplies and other essential items to the Wind River Reservation.

Film/Media Production and Training

Students can learn the fundementals of video editing, storytelling, and photography/filmography.

Community Engagement

Through our many community events, the Robobroncs help to raise awareness and excitement about STEM and robotics.

For Inspiration and recognition of science and technology

"FIRST® (For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology) is a robotics community that prepares young people for the future through a suite of inclusive, team-based robotics programs for ages 4-18 (PreK-12) that can be facilitated in school or in structured afterschool programs. Boosted by a global support system of volunteers, educators, and sponsors that include over 200 of the Fortune 500 companies, teams operate under a signature set of FIRST Core Values to conduct research, fundraise, design, build, and showcase their achievements during annual challenges.

An international not-for-profit organization (501(c)(3)) founded by accomplished inventor Dean Kamen in 1989, FIRST has a proven impact on STEM learning, interest, and skill-building well beyond high school. Alumni of FIRST programs gain access to exclusive scholarships, internships, and other opportunities that create connections and open pathways to a wide variety of careers."
